At Orchards Academy, we don’t just teach - we empower! We are so incredibly proud of our "Girl Boss" drive to ensure every single student knows they can be anything they want to be. Leading the charge is our incredible Head of Computing, Miss Pearce! From coding the future to breaking glass ceilings, Miss Pearce is showing our students that the sky is the limit. We’re building a generation of leaders, innovators, and dream-chasers right here in our classroom. 🤩

We are thrilled to announce that we’ve invested in GCSEPod, an award-winning digital platform to help our Year 11 students conquer their exams! 🎓 Why students (and parents) will love it: ⭐️Revision on the Go: 7,500+ "Pods" (3-5 min videos) available on any device. ⭐️Instant Feedback: Self-marking quizzes to help close those knowledge gaps. ⭐️Manageable Steps: No more staring at textbooks for hours - just short, focused bursts of learning. 🎁 Every student who logs in and explores the site before this Friday will be entered into a prize draw! 🎁 Check your email for login instructions or reach out to Mr. Wheeler for more info.

Year 7 took part in an interesting "Think Choice" workshop yesterday delivered by Kent Fire and Rescue Service . It was a fantastic opportunity for them to develop their life skills and think about safety in a whole new way. Our students had a wonderful time visiting the residents at Birchwood Heights Care Home this week. From sharing stories to participating in poetry readings, it was a special day filled with smiles. Our KS3 Photography Club has been busy getting up close and personal with the festive season.
