Our School Council members spent a wonderful afternoon at Birchwood Heights Care Home yesterday, connecting with senior members of our local community. Students enjoyed heart-to-heart conversations, took part in a Valentines crafting session, watched Mr Bean the Move with residents and then ended the day with pizza! ❤️📽️🍕 Special thanks to Donna from the Lifestyle team, who kindly hosted us! 🗨️"I am incredibly proud to have had the opportunity to escort members of the School Council. It was lovely to have the opportunity to welcome @horizon_tkat's Year 5 class to Orchards for part 2 of our work with them, building on our visit to their amazing school the week before. Our Head Students, Lillie and Grateful effortlessly transitioned from finishing their marathon Literature Paper 2 exam to help facilitate some fun activities on the English corridor before we made our way onto the tour of the building. Thank you so much to all the Horizons staff who helped with the visit, we can't wait to see you again.
