Cultural Trip to the Science Museum
On 28th November, 90 year 10 and year 9 students explored the realms and offerings of the science museum in London. The large cohort were able to find plenty of space upon different levels and floors of the museum, focusing on areas such as, Who am I - what makes you, up?, Engineering Room, Space and The Making of the Modern World.
Students were set photography challenges and several question task sheets. Students engaged brilliantly, discovering the first person in space, having photographs of rocket ships, discovering the compact design structure of the countries first ‘mini’, testing their emotions and reaction times as well as their thinking brain and cognitive abilities in the Who am I gallery.
The students conducted themselves in a brilliant manner. Especially given that through all of the scientific and technological advances that were discovered in the various modes of transport at the museum, there had still been very little advancement made on avoiding traffic on route home.
A very big thank you to all staff who helped support the running of the visit and to the students for their positive approach and engagement.
