Modern Foreign Language
The intention of our MFL curriculum is to develop an interest in and thirst for learning other languages. We aim to introduce the learning of the Spanish language and the understanding of its origins in enjoyable and stimulating ways. The MFL curriculum is designed to grow a cultural curiosity, one that stimulates a rigid competency in the elements of speaking, listening, reading and writing in a modern foreign language.
Our curriculum promotes students to improve their base communication skills well beyond that of their immediate needs and interests. Exposure to wider cultures promotes a diversity and tolerance, one that build on student confidence levels and looks to develop and convey opinions in another language.
