Elevate
On Monday 8th July, Year 10 were off timetable all day to take part in their first Elevate sessions. The day was designed for students to reflect on their bronze exams and develop their understanding of how they can deal with exam stress, along with preparation for what Year 11 looks like and specific revision strategies they can use.
Students rotated around staff who presented their sessions. The day finished with Year 10 in the auditorium which was turned into a study space so they were able to deliberately practice all the strategies that they had gone through earlier in the day.
The student feedback was overwhelmingly positive with them expressing how much they enjoyed the day and all the positive changes they can make for their silver mocks next year.
Thanks to all the teachers that supported the event and we look forward to inviting our parents and carers to the next Elevate event in Year 11.
