Year 7 new build visit
As part of our ongoing careers provision, on Thursday 16th May, in association with BAM our contractors for the new build, we were able to take 60 year 7 students in groups to visit the current construction site.
Students were shown around the site as it stands and all the plans for the coming weeks explained by the project manager. In full PPE they walked around the site and looked at foundations, drainage, steels and a crane in action.
The students loved the event and we will be back in the coming months to see the progress of their new school. One student even expressed to me that it was his dream job for the future.
