Royal Navy Visit
On Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th November, Year 7 and Year 8 students participated in workshops led by the Royal Navy. Students engaged in activities testing their communication, team building, resilience and problem solving skills. The students learnt about all of the outreach and humanitarian aspects that the Royal Navy encounter.
The students were really well engaged and participated with great enthusiasm. One student came away knowing more about what the Royal Navy do and who they support from the phrase 'Why engage in a conflict when we can use our words to come to a resolution'
Visiting officers leading the workshops spoke highly of both year groups commending the school on behaviour and enthusiasm.
